I recall one of the first times I even saw a train, it seemed to stretch on and on with no end, yet it moved forward. As I watched it pass I realized that every cart I saw held some sort of cargo. The whole caravan with a single goal. To get from one place, to another.
Beauty is genuine, and the world is full of many genuine things.
Part of being an adventurer to me means finding and seeing things that are known only to a privileged few.
Adventure is the motivating force of discovery. It’s the thrill of opening new doors, entering the unknown, and casting brilliant light onto whatever lies beyond.
Adventure isn’t just about hikes or how to get somewhere, adventure is something that makes memories and something that can always cause us to smile.
Something about coming into that clearing felt like being born again. I love the desert, but I’m finally confessing that lakes and streams, rain and oceans are Gods finishing touch to the beautiful world He made.
Adventuring doesn’t mean you have to be out in the wilderness and eating live rabbits. Because that’s gross, and I hope I never have to do that. Adventuring is so much more.
